Hiding tables or views in SQLAnyhwere 11.0.1

I am familiar with permissions in Sybase, but I wonder if there is a way to HIDE tables and views from a user in SQLAnywhere.

I note that if somebody uses an ODBC connection say in Excel, that user can see all of the tables, and views - whether I have granted them permission or not on any particular table.
