XenServer: vdi-resize does not find VDI


Hello,

I try to resize a VM's container to 100GB. But it does not work.

What's wrong?

[root@xenserver-km7 ~]# xe vdi-resize uuid=4d326f07-bb47-c2f8-e38e-cce5128208a9 disk-size=100000000
The uuid you supplied was invalid.
type: VDI
uuid: 4d326f07-bb47-c2f8-e38e-cce5128208a9 (KM0 vor 4.10 to rezise)

Not 100% sure, but it looks like you are giving the UUID of the VM, and not the VDI.  YOu will need to find the UUID of the VDI using 'xe vdi-list'.

Yes, I thought so too. On the tab "storage" I did not find a UUID...
I hope someone on Expert Exchange might know.
I still have no idea where to find the VDI's UUID
