HP QuickPlay 3.7 will not play a particular Blu-Ray DVD
I have a Hewlett-Packard HP Pavilion dv9700 Notebook PC. Please see attached file for OS and other NVIDIA information.
I have Rush's new DVD, Rush - Beyond The Lighted Stage and it's Blu-Ray and it won't play using HP QuickPlay 3.7 (I think the version is 6310; don't know where to find version information within HP QuickPlay). I have another Blu-Ray DVD and it plays fine with HP QuickPlay 3.7.
When I insert the Rush DVD and QuickPlay starts, it says "A component of the player requires periodic updates. Would you like to check for an update now?". When I click Yes, it simply loops that message over and over again. When I click No, it reverts to the main QuickPlay window and says "Insert a DVD or select the Media button". Under Source (left side of window), it says RUSH BEYOND THE LIGHTED STAGE.
It originally would not play ANY Blu-Ray DVD that I had. However, on July 6th, I went through the UPDATE process and downloaded the painfully large and slow updates. After that, it would play one of my Blu-Ray DVD's but not the Rush DVD.
I downloaded PowerDVD 10 and the Rush DVD plays using that software. But it's a trial version and I don't want to pay for the full product (unless I have to). I have since removed the PowerDVD software.
How do I get QuickPlay 3.7 to play my Blu-Ray DVD? NVIDIA-System-Information-07-07-.txt

Grant1842, thanks but too technical. Looking for something more installation-ready without all the choices.
Igor, I tried both downloads to no avail. MPC just said "opening" and it never opened the movie. Videolan just gave me an error and said "see the log file" which I couldn't find.
