windows print server - migrate or rebuild?

Hi
I've read other solutions regarding print server migrations, but they don't match my situation:
This is a Win 2003 network. We have a Win 2003 print Server. The Domain is being migrated (old Win 2003 DC being retired, new Win 2008 R2 DC with new domain name being brought online).
The question- the existing print server will be re-used 'as is' on the new domain (i.e. Win 2003 Member Server). There are 25 printers shared from it. How do I move the print server to the new domain. Can I detach server from old domain, join new domain and everything is OK?
ALL clients are being rebuilt as part of this process, so print assignments will be re-created from scratch via new GPOs.

So in that case, given that the server is Win 2003, you'd use the Print Migration Wizard 3.1 to do the export / import of printers, queues, etc?
