stumped over simple exchange 2007 smtp settings

I am trying to configure my exchange server without sucess. I am using Exchange 2007 on SBS 2008. According to my hosting company I need to configure my sending as follows:

Outgoing Mail Server: mail.domain.com (server requires authentication) port 25

I cannot figure out how to do this. I think that I am mixing up acronyms here. I can receive email (POP port 110) just fine. I do not have a MX record set because my ISP will double my rates to allow incoming on port 25.

Can someone please give me a guided tour of the correct way to set up my send connector so that it will work?
Thanks.
