We are using one 3rd party up to send emails via ISP's pop3. Now the client installed SBS2008 and we want to forward emails using Exchange on SBS. We have configured user and mailbox on SBS and it is working through Outlook. However when we set the user name, server name, ports (SSL) into the app emails are not sent. POP3 is enabled on server with default settings.
What must be configured on SBS Exchange to allow sending emails from 3rd party apps? The app is running on Windows 2003 domain member. Mails must be routed from intranet to Internet.
