I have Radware AppDirector OnDemand Switch VL 1008 which currently being used to load balance my Web 1 and Web 2 servers, but I'm having this issue where when I upload an images on Web 1, I have to manually upload the images on Web 2 too to be able to show correctly if it, if visitors happen to visit the site and get directed to Web 2, they will not be able to see the updates (ie contents, images, or whatever is in web 1 and not in web 2).
I asked the vendor if AppDirector can help to sync up this two servers other than just load balancing it, meaning, if I upload an image on Web 1, AppDirector will automatically copy the similiar file onto Web 2. But I was told AppDirector is unable to do this. Basically all AppDirector can do is just load balance the traffic.
So need experts here to tell me if this is true? This is not a cheap hardware but if all it can do is just load balance, its kind of useless.
If I can't use that load balancer, what other alternative I should have? I was told that I can write a script to do the sync but I have to pay $1k for that damn script!
PS, I'm not the one who purchase this, its the previous tech guy just in case I was accuse of not doing my ground work :).
