i found one software name Vox Forge
how is it ??
how is it ??
I assume you mean:
http://www.voxforge.org/
I've never had any experience with this. In fact, I never even heard of them. But based on the website, it seems that all VoxForge does is collect transcribed speech for use with Free and Open Source Speech Recognition Engines. So what you really need to find is one of those engines. The one mentioned at VoxForge is the Julius Speech Recognition Engine, which I also have never used (or even heard of). You can download it, along with the VoxForge Acoustic and Grammar files, at:
http://www.voxforge.org/home/downloads
If you give this a try, let us know how it goes. Regards, Joe

i am very new to this thing
i believe what you say is they collect speech samples and then create a database around them
which can be used with
other Open Source Speech Recognition Engines
means i have to download acoustic models from VoxForge and then download
Julius .... and add these acoustic models or whatever and then start
