I have an input button in an MVC view

<input type="submit" value="SubmitExistingResponseTable" title="Submit" />

that executes a controller ActionResult called "SubmitExistingResponseTable".

I want to rename the input button to be displayed as Submit but how can I do this?

 I still want to call actionresult method "SubmitExistingResponseTable"

Here's how you do it. You define a form tag with the action and controller details that the button needs to post back to:

<% using(Html.BeginForm("SubmitExistingResponseTable")) %>
<% { %>
            <input type="submit" value="Submit" />
<% } %>
