What do you mean by "maintain"?  If you give a little more information about your situation and the problem you are trying to solve, I can be of more assistance.

I'm still a bit confused.

You "move to" your PC.  Are you switching the television input from Apple TV to a PC, and then back again?

And then you need to

a) select the WiFi network again, or reauthenticate?
b) login to iTunes
c) something else is the trouble?

Yes, I need to move from the ATV to my desktop to do another activity,  and then I need to reauthenticate in the access point. That means I need to reauthenticate at every moment after no use constantly the ATV, of course I lose the connection with tha access point.

Option a).

Have you updated your Apple TV to the latest firmware?

Apple TV should remember the wifi settings - Settings -> General -> Network

Are you using DHCP for your wifi setup in AppleTV ?  If not, maybe your PC is somehow set to the same IP address?  But your PC has no trouble with wifi password?

If you are able to use a wired (ethernet) connection, this would be better for AppleTV since it will provide much better download speed.
