SQL Agent stopping each night

Our SQL server seems to stop the agent each night around the same time with this error:

SQLSERVERAGENT service stopping due to a stop request from a user, process, or the OS...

Please check the SQL Agent.OUT file (Default path is - C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\LOG) for some more information on this error. Also, what are the events logged in event viewer during this time. Please post the error messages.

We think it might be related to Backup Exec running on that server. It seems to be shutting down the agent and not starting it.
