How to create VPN on a Firebox x700?
I have a off-site location that I need to create a VPN account for using my Firebox X700. I need to know the steps on how to do this and if it is possible to have that off-site computer access a shared folder that has security right for certain people once that VPN connection is made?
I have a Windows 7 computer with a folder on the desktop with reports in it. I gave certain domain users access to this folder only. Can I accomplish the same thing for the users at this off-site location using VPN access?
Thank you! MJD

I understand and downloaded the vpn software for the client, but only access my x700 via software called "Firebox System Manager" and dont see where I could set up user vpn accounts or the actual connection of the VPN. Am I correct I need to tell the firewall that I want a VPN connection and what users have access. My last firewall made from Watchguard had a web interface. thoughts?
Please look at link below to configure PPTP VPN from windows 7 to WG [here you would not need to install any 3rd party VPN clients on the windows machine]:

If you wish to configure IPSec VPN instead [you would need to install MUVPN client software on windows; also make sure you do not have any other IPSec client installed on the said machine from any other vendor], then please look at link below:

Please implement and update.

As already mentioned in the links; please note you must have watchguard management software with appropriate level of encryption before you can configure VPN.
Thank you.

Thank you. Still work in progress.
Remote users can make a secure IPSec VPN connection to your network using the WatchGuard® Mobile User VPN (MUVPN) software.
