I also found out that uninstalling the symbol SDK application was what caused the compact framework to become corrupt in the first place.

I can not open my solution. &nbsp;I get an error saying Unable to read the project file. &nbsp;This project requires .net compact framework v2.0 which is not installed on this machine..... &nbsp; I can not open the project. &nbsp;or any previous versions of the application. &nbsp;I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the VS2008 and still am unable to get this error to disappear. &nbsp;
