Remote Desktop Printing to Canon MX700

I have a client with a Canon MX700 Multi Function Type Printer. She uses it locally in her home office over ethernet on a Windows 7 machine. She needs to remote into a work machine and do some invoicing. I am having some problems getting the Canon to be seen in the remote session. I usually have clients using HP network printers and they always seem to work ok over a terminal services session but in this instance not the Canon. Is there anything I can do to make it work?

Cheers.

Install the same set of drivers she has on her machine on the server.
The printer drivers must match on both sides and must be installed on both sides.

Check the option to enable printers is chosen within the RDC client (options -> local resources -> tick printers). You will also need to install the same print drivers on the server. Go to printers and faxes on the server, click file -> server properties, and add the drivers in there. Reconnect your RDC session and you should be sorted.
