Hi All,

W e have an IBM UPS 3000 series that has an RJ45 connection which can be used to connect to the network for monitoring.

The up seems to picked an ip address which I can find out what it is through DHCP. There is MAC address label on the ups ao that I can trace it with.

Is there any Discovery software for the IBM  UPS that we can run to discover the UPS .

Thanks

You have to configure the card with the DB9-RJ45 cable that is included with the UPS.  You will then have to configure it through a terminal program of your choice.  Here is a link to the install doc on IBM's website.
