Ipad will not connect to Exchange

My customer has an Small Business Server 2003 running Exchange.
All sales persons uses Apple Iphone G3 to read mail and calandar.
All things working with firewall, ports and Thawte certificate.

Now the manager has bought himself an Apple Ipad.
We try to set the client up identical to the settings on the Iphones but we can not connect.
It says something like "Unable to verify account"
Again we know for sure that the provided settings is correct and working on an Iphone.

Any suggestions?

I don't think there is a reason for going through your guide.
As I said everything is working fine with all the Iphones.

Sure - but I have seen configuration where some devices work and some don't and it is down to the configuration being incorrect.
I would still run through my article, check your IIS settings and run the tests - you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
If you don't want to make any changes, post a comment first and I can advise how necessary the change will be.
Failing that, just run the test on the test site and see if you get all green lights.

Are you connected to the company Wi-Fi when trying to connect to Exchange?  It won't work unless you are using your 3G connection or Wi-Fi that is external to the network.
