Thank you for helping me out with populating the list using ajax.

Now, when I save the form, I need to capture the name I selected from this dynamically populated cfselect and show a custom message on the screen. The message is  something like:

'Your request has been sent to <Requested User>'.

Please help.

Thank you
Sharath

When the form is submitted, the selected list item will be available as the variable #FORM.getManagers#.  So just use that variable within a cfoutput

ie
<cfoutput>
Your request has been sent to #FORM.getManagers#
</cfoutput>
