In CRM 4.0, using workflows or form scripting, how do I detect that a lead is being qualified and being converted to an account?
This is the crux of the issue - I want to insist that an account number be provided when an account is created using lead conversion. I cannot do it with form scripting or by making the account number required because the lead conversion allows me to create an account without an account number even if the account number is required at the account level and not provided at the lead level. Also, I cannot force the account form to be opened during Lead Conversion using script to put some code behind the OnLoad of the account form to enforce the same.
How do I trap the Lead Conversion event for form scripting?
