News flash on SharePoint Site

there is dev requirement for sharepoint site where need to create like http://in.msn.com home page. messages should get changed every 5 minut and next and back option should be there .

any body has source c/ sample code for this. any idea how can i perform this, SP-Rq.doc

Which version / edition of SharePoint?
Where are you getting your news from - what is the source.
 You can use an rss feed if you have standard edition.

In SharePoint 2010 you can specify the time of refresh.

  • version is MOSS 2007 SP 2.
  • We will be getting news from Company web site ..like new win..new contract..new policy implemented..new process started ...its internal organization will be shown there.
  • we have enterprise version.
hope you got my requirement ( http://in.msn.com/?rd=1 ) on site very 5 minut information of news getting changed like that solution i am looking.
