2 HWIC-4ESW cards on a cisco router

Hi,

How can you make 2 HWIC-4ESW cards on a cisco router ? this seems not to be obvious. you can create vlan, access the vlan ip, but can't access anything connected to that vlan.

thanks

Can you be more specific about what you are trying to do?  It sounds like maybe connect two different networks using VLANs?

how can you what?

None of your sentences make sense, please elaborate a bit as to what it is you want to do; possibly attaching a network diagram and/or config of the device.

Hi,

you need
vlan 1
 ip add 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0
vlan 2
 ip addd 192.168.2.1 255.255.255.0

and after you need to go switchport interface
int fast 1/0 ! for example
 switchport mode access
 switchport access vlan 1
