Flash redirect to a new webpage

Hi there

I have created a an intro flash page.

What I want to do is for the flash movie to automatically redirect at the end of the movie to my home page.

I have tried the getURL actionscript but it doesn't seem to work - please help!

Screen dump attached if that helps - as you may have guessed I am not the worlds best programmer!!!

Sorry this does not make sense to me - I am not that much upto speed on programming so can you explain in good old plain english for me?

so i've noticed that the url wasn't closed off with a double quotation mark - this has now been correct and I am still getting and error...

this is what I am using

getURL("www.google.com");

If you are using Action Script 3.0 then try this

var request:URLRequest = new URLRequest("http://www.mysite.com/home.htm");
navigateToURL(request,"_parent");

The "_parent" parameter is optional and tells the browser to open the URL in the current window. Use "_blank" to open the page in a new window or other standard link target name.
