Hi,

I am trying to open a .psf file in photoshop cs4 extended. But it says it is not the right kind of document.

But I am able to open it in something like "XnView"

Is Photoshop capable of opening .psf file? Do I need to install some sort of plugin?

Thanks

I was doing it this way.

But before I was able to open the file in photoshop as well.

Dont remember if a plugin was needed at that time.

Is there a patch?

The thing is that .psf is used for more than one file format.

I've seen one trick to open .psf file in Photoshop (not tried myself). That is to change the extension from .psf to .jpg and then have Photoshop open it.

Not seen any plug in for this.
