Unable to Connect Expression to IIS7 (Win7 Home Premium & IIS 7)

I cannot seem to connect to IIS 7 via Expression web. I have tried...

1. Creating a web through the IIS Console
2. Creating a new website through Expression (pointing to localhost)

...nothing.

I keep getting this error:

Unable to Open Site. Possible causes:
1. The web server may not have FrontPage extensions installed
2. The Web server may be temporarily out of service.
3. If you are connecting through a proxy server, the proxy settings may be incorrect.
4. An error may have occurred in the web server.

Which tells me...nothing.

Any clues?

Please advise

Also found that "The FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions (FPSE 2002) are not supported for IIS 7.5 on Windows 7". See NOTES section of http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/134/installing-the-frontpage-server-extensions-on-iis-70/

I am on Windows7 Home Premium with IIS 7.5

Greetings,

Thanks for all the replies. But I would like to point out that I am running Win7 64bit. And (apparently) there are no FrontPage extensions for this platform.

As such the best I can find on this issue is peralesa's recommendation. of Web Dev/FTP. DOnt know if they work. Haven't yet. But I'll keep plugin away at it.

Thanks Again,
sleeper
