Erroe on Sales order subtotal -What is force functional

Hhow do I correct a sales order window/ report that is not subtotaling correctly?
What is the function (purpose) of FORCE FUNCTIONAL? how do I corrct a subtotal discrepiecy? The ltem quantity and unit price extend to correct amounts, but the subtotal is off

You can correct the subtotals by recociling the SOP document.
Use menu optiion Tools/Utilities/Sales/Recocile-Remove Sales Documents

Enter the Oerder number and click the Process button.

Force Functional is be for Multi-Currency transactions.

the 'Functional Currency' is the defaut currency for the company.
