I have located a few .bak files which I beleive are backups of SQL Server Databases?
In a secure offline environment, which tools (free if preferable) can be used to restore these files to see what data was in them? Does the .bak come with any security features, i.e. if we restore from a a .bak is there anything that would prevent us from viewing the data?
