postfix dovecot

Dovecot.conf
  mail_location = maildir:~/Maildir


postfix main.cf
   home_mailbox = Maildir/

have you set these?
    * imap_server_type = dovecot
    * default_folder_prefix = none (is set to empty string)
    * trash_folder = Trash
    * sent_folder = Sent
    * draft_folder = Drafts
    * show_prefix_option = false
    * default_sub_of_inbox = false
    * show_contain_subfolders_option = false
    * optional_delimiter = detect
    * delete_folder = false
    * force_username_lowercase = true

sounds to me like dovecot and postfix are both configured to use /home/$user/Maildir and squirrelmail is configured to look in /var/mail or something...

where should i set them?

seems like all of sets are ok.Squirrel made them automatically.
hmmm?? where is the problem.....

when you say all mail goes under /var/mail... are you seeing mailboxes being created there?
Also can you please load up your logs for me to see, postfix, dovecot and squirrelmail.

still sounds to me like something is looking in the wrong place...

I will send them today.
inside /var/mail/username but does username is not folder ,it is just text file which all my emails writen in it.

when i take a new email ,This email writen in this username txt file.

if the mail is in var/mail/$user then there is a dovecot configuration error on the path...

I need the dovecot logs...

squirrel still emty

maybe i erase and again install when you can give me better instruction

Thank you for help.I did it.But problem var in dovecot.conf .simple erased one sentance and works.
I just erased squirrel and installed roundcube .Now  my inbox is full:))
