We have a keyless door access sytem at our office. The model is a Entryprox-905 by HID I think. The problem is that we created a user on location 1 by accident and that happens to be te location for the master code. Now we are unable to get into programming mode to reset the darn thing. This had happened once before and I am told the tech that came out to fix it took the keypad appart and did something and hooked it all back up. This tells me there is a way to reset the factory defaults from the circuit board but I have not being able to figure out how.... Any ideas?

Thanks

Just the obvious one to contact the tech.

According to the docs, the different levels of resetting, including wiping all memory, the first step is "1. Place the EntryProx unit in program mode"

Did you review the manual already?

Yes I did.... The manual said if you've forgotten or don't know the master code call your supplier or HID support.
Anyways, I found an older manual for it and found the solution there and was able to reset it.
Sorry I had forgotten to close this question.
Basically you can open up the unit and there is a button that bypasses the master code and if pressed puts you into programming mode.

Thanks again
