Address List cannot be displayed in Outlook 2007

We have one user that is having trouble pulling up the address list in Outlook 2007.  Getting error "address list cannot be displayed.  Connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable.  Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action."

As far as I know, only one user is experiencing this problem.  This an internal user, Outlook status shows connected and user has ability to send/receive email.  Also, was able to download address book.  I tried removing the Address book, but couldn't.  Remove option is greyed out.

Environment is Exchange 2007 SP1 on mailbox server and SP3 on HUB/CAS boxes.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Give this a shot:

Windows XP:

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook and delete any .OAB files in that folder and re-open Outlook.

Vista/Win7:

Go to C:\Users\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook and delete any .OAB files in that folder and re-open Outlook.

Issue resolved.  The System Attendant wasn't running.  I didn't think it was a server issue until we started having other issues:  address list look ups, unable to connect new accounts, etc.

Thanks for you input eldios.
