Can I grant access to the Google Web Optimizer (GWO) Experiment to other user?
Hello all,
A question which should be trivial:
How could I give access (mainly to the report) of an experiment to OTHER users?
some are Admin of the Goggle Analytics.
I've read http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/websiteoptimizer/thread?tid=69abced4417920ce&hl=en and http://www.google.com/support/websiteoptimizer/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=55916
BUT why "you'll need to grant them access to AdWords " ? I've no access to AdWords.
So what can I do?

Yes it is possible. Sorry no one has answered you yet. This isn't on my mail list, I was bored and started searching for un-answered questions. Anyway, it is pretty simple. The first step is to make sure the user has a gmail account. This may or may not be required for Analytics, I know it is for the Webmaster Tools.
Access your Analytics page, the screen you see just after you log-in. In the bottom of the page you will see a user manager link beneath your sites (towards the very bottom of the page). Once you click add user you will see your user name in a box. Look up at the top right of the box for the add user link. Click and follow the directions. Good Luck

first thanks for your response, but what you describe is what I already do for ANALYTICS, it doesn't give/grant access to the "Google Web Optimizer" the A/B version nor the report is accessible by other

I added a google email account as Admin and immediately get acces. So yes it works.
Now for a strange reason someone who was Admin BEFORE I create the experiment does NOT see it.
Could it be that only if the *creator of the GWO* add user as admin in analytics THEN they get access?
NB for the link ^^ nothing new it's the link I've refer to in the question ;-)

I don't know how else to answer your question. You asked how to grant others access to the reports and I explained it. The "new information" in you last post changes things a little. You have 2 choices:
1. Contact the original owner of the account to get access through a request.
2. Create a new account for yourself and change the UA-xxxxxxx-x that is placed in your site with your new account #. You may then grant access to others.
Sometimes the correct answer isn't the easy one, but it is still correct.
