i have a JSON.parse(); and it works in firefox but in IE7 it throws a undefind error.  This is the routine

function (record){
var recordsToSend = Ext.apply(record.data);
var jsonStr = JSON.parse(recordsToSend);   //Her is where IE throws the error message.

}
