How SQL Server Analysis Services stores the data internally?

Can someone tell me how the SQL Server Analysis Services (2005/2008) stores the mutli dimensional data internally? I can see AHSTORE, KHSTORE, LSTORE, KSTORE etc files for dimensions and DATA and HDR files for Mesure group partitions. Can someone elaborate these?
