reinstall windows XP with an english version, it is not possible to change the language of a installed windows XP

i am not sure with winxp, but i know that with win2k and 98 you could change language of the interface, you needed to find ?mui? files of the language you need and replace them on your installation.
now, with OS that are bigger and ... bigger with each realease it may not be possible.

Best is to install the fresh windows version with the language of your choice.

@Lisij, only for the Open Volume enterprise versions of windows XP is a MUI kit available, so unless you have a Open Volume License you cant acquire it.

you should be able to change the setting through regional and language settings in control panel
