Hello,

My Cisco ACE failed.  The new one just arrived.  This model ACE is designed to sit in a 6500 shelf.  I am not familiar with the configuration at all.  All i have is two text files.  One is the running config and the other is starting config.  After I slide this service module into the 6500 is there a simple way to import the text file backup configuration code and be back online?

If all you have is text, you will probably need to just paste the contents of the file into the command line by running the following:

#conf t
#(config) <paste the text of the running config text file here>
