SSRS Reports - Making them look beautiful

Hi,

I have created many "internal use" SSRS reports in the past but this time the report needs to look "beautiful and very professional" as it is going to external customers in the form of an invoice.

Is there any sites that I can go and download SSRS templates to give me a running start on the design?  How do 'non-arty' techies (like me) make reports look beautiful!!

Regards

Andrew

Hi

This is what we are trying to do as well......(for dashboards).... successfuly or not here are some first examples http://www.itcouple.co.uk/Dashboard-example.aspx  (Comments welcome :)

We approach it by using google images and companies specializing in reports who had samples so we could get inspiration.

I'm not aware of templates.

Great looking dashboard!

What companies did you look at?  What do you mean by Google images

Hi

Try with Google Analytics! Brilliant! Also dundas dashboards, Information builders.

With google images. I mean I go to standard google and click images in the upper left corner and then type dashboard sample for instance.

I also strongly recommend Stephen Few recommnedations for building dashboards from his website/blog... http://www.perceptualedge.com/ (if you haven't visited yet)
