Need a tutorial for Javascript & Sqlite (Safari)

Hi experts,

I'm working on a little web app which I intend to make mobile (targeting iPhone at first, Android later). It will be html files with javascript and sqlite. I've googled till I'm going insane but cannot find a good reliable tutorial that will show me how to achieve what I need.

It's simple really - I have a page: addresses.htm. I want to list dynamically on this page (as hyperlinks) a bunch of addresses (which can be added to), which are pulled from the sqlite db. If no sqlite db exists, it will be created with: address_id and address_text

The links will contain address_text and when clicked will show a panel with that address and option to delete (so I must grab the address_id).

It has to work in Safari, I don't care about the other browsers.

I have found a tutorial on Apple's website but it's overkill. I've seen one or two other tutorials which are hacks or incomplete.

Any advice would be great as I'm pulling my hair out!

Thanks

Jon
