Blackberry enterprise server express

I am running Blackberry enterprise server express I have added a new phone to the system and the user is getting duplicate emails. This phone is new out of the box, is thier a setting I may have hit.

remove the user, wipe the phone and try again.

also check that there is no forwarding of emails from another address
