Snapshot Agent Failure in a Transactional ReplicationSetup
Please the below error details
"The replication agent has not logged a progress message in 10 minutes. This might indicate an unresponsive agent or high system activity. Verify that records are being replicated to the destination and that connections to the Subscriber, Publisher, and Distributor are still active."

Thanks for the reply.
Can I leave the snapshot agent as it is in the failed state?The reason I am asking is because my Log reader agent is running just fine and they the replications works smoothly.

Thanks for the reply.After checking the history I have decided to disable the snapshot job.

for Snapshot agent, search in 'Activity Monitor' of publisher server for any lock. as Snapshot may required lock on some table and might cause chain of lock. If this is a case, try run Snapshot when DB is less activity. If still failed, on my system, usually I've to announce maintenance down time. (which, actually, it may need only 10 seconds of downtime to complete the job)
for Distribution agent, you may need to run profiler on subscriber server
filter using application name like %publication name% to see what is the command being sent.
