Backup Exec Exchange Mailbox Restore from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007

Is the following restore possible :-

Backup Tape Contains :- Exchange 2003 Mailbox Level backup which was created on a SBS 2003 Box running Backup Exec 10d for SBS.

I am trying to restore 1 individual mailbox onto a 2003 x64 Server running Exchange 2007 SP2 and Backup Exec 12.5 with Exchange Agent.

I can successfully catalog the media & restore normal files and also view the Exchange Store down to individual mailbox items.

However when I try to restore the individual mailbox I get the following error :-

Error category    : Resource ErrorsError             : e000848c - Unable to attach to a resource.  Make sure that all selected resources exist and are online, and then try again.  If the server or resource no longer exists, remove it from the selection list. Unfortunately, you have to restore to the same version of Exchange. The only way this will work is to create another Exchange 2003. It has to do with the technology between the two being different.

Many thanks for the response

I've always wondered by Backup Exec doesn't have an 'Export Mailbox to.pst option...'

They would probably have to get permission from MS add that function. I keep hearing MS wants to get rid of PST's.
