outlook 2010 will not start

I am upgrading from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2010.  When 2010 starts I first had an error regarding an add-in (a legal program called TimeMatters) which I uninstalled since I do not use it.  Now when I try to start Outlook, after the add-ins seem to be loading, the program will not open ("encountered a problem and needs to close").

Help!

Restart the client computer. Disabled all add-ins and start Outlook. Enable the add-ins one by one.

kpoochi: Thanks. But I have no idea how to disable add-ins without having Outlook open.  How do I do that?
Thanks.
