Need to save default profile on HP Scanjet G4010

I can set up a profile, but i cannot save it to be the default.  The FAQ's claim it will save if you accept, but that does not happen.  I am using the solution center to create and save profiles.

This doesn't sound like an issue with Adobe Flash ... What kind of profile are you setting up?

The changes persisted upon making the user admin on their machine.
