Our DPM server had a crash and
DPM keeps failing one of our protection group with file-backup it needs to run a consistency check but it's failing every time it tries. I can't get a restorepoint of this server created.
If it's any help we use McAfee virus scan 8.7 patch2

Here is the error details:
The replica of E:\ on Server-FS01.domain.loc is inconsistent with the protected data source. All protection activities for this data source will fail until the replica is synchronized with consistency check.
DPM encountered an error while performing an operation for \\?\Volume{5dcd9484-925d-11da-a228-001279d10c9d}\Profiles\user\Cookies\user@statcounter[1].txt

For more information, open DPM Administrator Console and review the alert details in the Monitoring task area.

Does it happen if you run a manual consistency check?

I found out that McAfee 8,7 did a on access scan of all files received by the server, I uninstalled the antivirus program and restarted the server.
I run a manual consistency check and it worked!
