I have a client who has replaced data on the C drive that was synched back to an H Drive. He used MS Windows 7 Sych center to backup the c drive to the server. The data in a specific folder has been overwritten with what looks like to be the synched data from the H Drive. The the attachement for the file extensions and sizes. It look like in the .tmp file there is data. Is there any way to read this data or export it inot a format that can be read. Is it possible that these files could be Synched data? we need to check as this is all we have to go on.

Thanks      Synched data Synched data

If he synced the data to the H drive, shouldn't the intact data be on the H drive?

This is my thought exactly, however it seems not. Do you know of a tool that can read these temp files and push them back into the normal intact  file?
