Sub Interfaces on Nokia/IP Appliance

Hi,

I want to be able to create sub interfaces on CP, Please look at the steps below is this correct ?

On the Checkpoint via Voyager under the interface tab create vlan 2 with an IP on the same subnet as the server

Interface 1 on the sw direct connection to the Fw, Interface 2 on switch add the server port in Vlan 2

Switch config

Cisco switch
int fa0/1
Switchport mode trunk
encap dot1q

As long as your trunk port has VLAN 2 defined as accepted (either within a direct group of VLANs or "all" selected)
