32 bit icon support in citrix xenapp

we have upgraded our farm from presentsation server 4.0 to 4.5 FP1 with hotfix rollup pack 6. our web interface servers are 5.0.1 and i upgraded the access suite console to version 4.6.1 which is now displaying the option of enabling 32 bit icon support for the farm. in spite of haing all the components in place required for 32 bit icon support is there anything else i need to do to get this functionality. i tried changing icons of the published applications but the icons still are being diaplayed as before. any help

As I understand it (http://hqextsrvsft01.citrix.com/article/CTX114598) it's necessary to delete and recreate the published app for the icon change to take affect (otherwise it retains the old icon bit settings)- have you tried publishing a new app to see if that works on its own?

I did that as well. i replublsied the application and the icon looks even worse. it is being displayed as small squares. maybe the file that i am using is not correct. i am also a bot confused with resolution, color bit, color depth. maybe if you have a sampl icon could try that one our. what should be the size, color depth of the ico file.

May also want to check how much video ram is allocated. I think in that version it may default down to 4 and not 8 which can effect this as well.

Right Click Farm - Properties
Server Default Heading - ICA - Display
I set ours to a maximum 8192KB
