Laserjet 3500 doesn't manual duplex

Hi,
I have a laserjet 3500 (plain, not an N). It is attached to a Windows sbs2003 server through USB cable. When attempting to duplex I get the little pop-up that explains how to orient the paper, so the software knows what's going on. I click OK. The printer just continues to print page after page into the output hopper like a regular job and doesn't stop to move paper for side 2. I don't have the ordiginal CD.
I have HP working it for a week with no results. They'have me try different drivers to no avail. I read that the original driver on the CD does bring duplexing back.
Any ideas where to get that original driver.
Is there a physical switch on the printer that is keeping this from happening?
Is there another color laserjet driver that I can substitute that would duplex.

Drivers are available from this page, where you can also order the CD:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=315864&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=315862&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=1005

I expect that the link to "HP color LaserJet 3500 printing system" will be the same, and it's a free download - unless the additional software on the CD somehow takes care of the manual duplexing. I would try the download first; if that does not work, then get the CD.

What you are telling me is to wait for HP support to lumber along and address my problem. I paid for the out of warranty support, but was looking for a quicker solutions. I'm going to leave this open and submit my solution when (or if) HP solves it. Maybe I can help someone else later on.

I'm sorry, but I did not mention or imply HP support. I suggested a way to get the CD and a way to possibly fix the problem without the CD. I'm not sure what you're even talking about.

OK, here's the soution from HP out of warranty support. They put together a "beta" driver. (not sure what that menas). This is a driver for HP Laserjet 3500 (although the file name referred to a 3550).The version is 60.32.63.22.
It is important to note that the 3500 drivers previously used must be removed. This is done by opening Printers and Faxes. Delete the icon for the printer. CLick on File, click on Server Properties and click on the Drivers tab. Remove the clolor laserjet 3500 driver. A reboot may be necessary first to remove the driver. This has been tested only on XP but I am assured it will work on Server 2003, where it will run in production for me.
Bottom line, Manual duplexing can work if you keep trying to find a solution.
Not: this is not a Windows certified driver, but I used it any way and am very happy.
