vBulletin: Get first unread post

Hello

I'm trying to get the answer number of the first unread post in a thread in vBulletin 4 given a Username.
Anyone has knowledge of this?

im not sure of the vbulletin database setup but i would suggest something similar to this

$qry = "select answer_number from threads where username = 'whateveruser' AND read = 'no' ORDER BY date DESC limit 1";

above is a mysql query, without seeing specific code and db structure this is the best example i can come up for you
