How do Ioad windows Server 2003 Standard onto IBM X3200 (7328) Server?
Hi Experts
I recenlty purchased IBM X3200 (7326) Server onto which I need to load Windows Server 2003 Standard. Guess What! No Bootable Media. Contacted the suppliers who contacted IBM. I recevied a link to a download site. Hoever this media supports the installation of Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7 AIK so I am assuming that the medai does not support Windows Server 2003. Need help urgently. Many Thanks

Hello,
Any media found with IBM server?
Please contact to IBM for this media.
Installation steps:
1. Insert IBM media & boot from CD/DVD. Then it will ask for windows server 2003 media. After that you will insert & install windows server 2003 standard edition.

Try http://www-933.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/systemx/selectFixes#ServeRaid for software. It supports 2003. Download the ServerRAID installation and setup CD.
You will struggle to install without a bootable CD on the IBMs.
things I have done before in this scenario..
boot from win2003 cd and use a usb floppy for the drivers
install onto a basic PCand then use storagecraft shadow protect to image it off and then onto the IBM server

download the ISO software, burn the CD and boot from that.

Hi Elwin
Would 8.31 be ok?
Would 8.31 be ok?
Should be ok - but if it doesn't have option for Windows 2003 then try 8.30.
8.30 is the version it said for the IBM x3200 M3 7328.
