session length silverlight

in silverlight how long is the session? 20 mins by default? is this set in webconfig like asp.net?

also in asp.net there is a session end event in global.asax file.
in silverlight when a session ends how do we set it to null so we can go back to login pages when the session ends on a password protected page.
