I have just bought a QNAP NAS, model TS-210. Having some difficulties installing and am now completely flummoxed - trying to copy files to the NAS and am getting a "media is write protected" error - I have no idea how to change this. Can anyone help please?

are you logging in configuration interface or by webdav ? I think full access have by default only local admin.
Did you do:
WebDAV access right for each share folder. Go to "Access Right Management" > "Share Folders", click "WebDAV Access Control" in the "Action" column, and set up the WebDAV access right for the folder.
