What is the best practice to deploy Windows XP with WDS on Server 2008 R2 ?
I have almost none problem with deploying Windows 7, but lot of problems with XP, mostly becaus of the unattended answar file.

I can capure the XP into .wim file and deploy it as it is. But I cannot figure out how to apply unattended file to the image so I can make the deploy fully automated e.g locale,keyboard  ,time zone etc.

You need to use the setup manager in the support tools to create an unattended answer file. Full information is contained within the setup manager help files or theres lots of guides on the internet: i.e.
